Honor unveils Magic V6 and the Robot Phone A new race in the world of artificial intelligence

Khaberni -  Honor announced its readiness to launch its new foldable phone, Magic V6, along with a showcase of its innovative "robot" phone during its upcoming participation at the Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona.

This year's company events carry the motto "Believers in AI Future," reflecting its significant focus on artificial intelligence as a central pillar for its new devices, which also include the anticipated MagicPad 4 tablet.

Magic V6 follows the Magic V5, which was categorized among the thinnest foldable phones in its class and strongly competed with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, according to a report published by PhoneArena.

Honor is preparing to offer a design that combines slimness and durability, with a larger battery than its predecessor. Compared to Magic V5, which has a battery capacity of 5820 milliampere hours as opposed to 4400 milliampere hours in the Galaxy Z Fold 7, leaks suggest that Magic V6 might come with a massive battery up to 7150 milliampere hours, which could provide it a significant advantage in usage duration if these numbers are confirmed.

Leaked images also showed an ultra-slim design, reinforcing expectations that the company is betting on combining elegance with long battery life, a perennial challenge in the foldable phone category.

Alongside the Magic V6, Honor is showcasing its most controversial project: the robot phone.

This device relies on artificial intelligence to become a "smart mobile companion," featuring a camera that can extend and rotate to follow the scene in front of it, in an experience that approximates the behavior of a living being observing the surrounding world.

The company is expected to reveal more details during the expo, paving the way for a potential launch later in the year, with the introduction of innovative artificial intelligence features unprecedented in smartphones.

These announcements come at a time when competition in the foldable phone market is intensifying, not only with Samsung but also with the keen anticipation of Apple's entry into this sector with its first foldable iPhone.

Experts indicate that the Magic V6 may increase pressure on competitors, especially if Honor succeeds in offering a massive battery within an extremely slim design, raising user expectations in 2026.

As the opening of the Mobile World Congress in March approaches, all eyes are on what the company will actually reveal, and whether its new devices can turn the motto "Believers in AI Future" into practical products, redefining user experience and elevating the level of competition in the world of foldable phones and the robot smartphone.
