Death of Mai Omars father shocking developments in the series The Mona Lisa episode 7

Khaberni - The events of the seventh episode of «The Mona Lisa» escalated with the death of the heroine's father and a shocking development that puts her in the face of a serious accusation after Alia fell soaked in her blood.

The seventh episode of the series «The Mona Lisa» saw a significant dramatic escalation, starting with Mona Lisa arriving in Ismailia, where she received the news of her father's death, to completely collapse as she embraced his clothes and cried bitterly, in a scene reflecting the shock she was subjected to.

Simultaneously, Hassan accompanied by his mother went to his sister Alia’s house, and asked her about the identity of the father of the child she was carrying, but she refused to disclose his name. Hassan did not stop there, but exerted severe pressure on her, affirming his desire to know the identity, either to complete her marriage to him or to force him to pay money, in a scene that revealed his readiness to compromise his sister's honor to achieve his interests.

In another development, Walaa entered Mona Lisa while she was drowning in her grief, and accused her of causing her father’s death, believing that his concern for her led to the deterioration of his health condition, before the father intervened trying to contain his daughter and alleviate her amidst a flood of accusations.

On a different side, Hassan sat with Rehab, portrayed by Jouri Bakr, who is the sister of his friend, and fabricated a story before her about his marriage to Mona Lisa, claiming that she did not support him and that he was forced to divorce her. It seemed that his plan was bearing fruit after his friend told him that Rehab could not stop talking about him, prompting him to thereafter warn Ibtisam, demanding her to stay away from his affairs and not to interfere in his matters.

Ibtisam accompanied Mahmoud to offer condolences to Mona Lisa, at a time when her father decided to confront Hassan to reclaim his daughter's rights and the rights of the child she was carrying. Indeed, he took his daughter to Hassan's house, where he began reproaching him and demanding the loan money and the amounts he had taken, in addition to his daughter’s dowry.

The confrontation got out of control after Hassan doubted Mona Lisa’s honor, so she defended herself by pushing him away, leading to the situation escalating and her father being thrown out of the house, then he confined her into the bathroom and forced her to sign a declaration waiving all her rights in exchange for allowing her to leave.

In a tragic turn, Mona Lisa's father died, while Alia tried to engage with her after she signed the waiver papers. Mona Lisa tried to push her away, which resulted in Alia falling to the ground soaked in her blood, ending the episode with a major shock, leaving Alia's fate hanging between life and death, and raising questions about whether Mona Lisa was actually implicated in a homicide or if Alia would be rescued and transferred to the hospital.

The events of the series «The Mona Lisa» are based on a true story, and feature Mai Omar perfectly portraying the character of Mona Lisa, who thought she had chosen her life partner appropriately by wearing the white dress, only for this notion to quickly dissolve after moving into her marital home, discovering that her husband viewed her as a personal gain, and a marriage governed by undisclosed conditions, setting the stage for subsequent events in an exciting dramatic framework.

The starring cast of «The Mona Lisa» includes Mai Omar and Shaimaa Saif, along with Ahmed Magdi, Sawsan Badr, Engy Al-Mokaddem, Wafaa Amer, Salwa Mohamed Ali, Jouri Bakr, Mostafa Emad, and Hazem Ehab, among others. The work is written by Mohamed Sayed Bashir, directed by Mohamed Ali.
