Khaberni - Today, Monday, the Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. Obeidallah Al-Maaytah, sponsored the annual evaluation ceremony and the Security Excellence Awards for the year 2025, which was held in the headquarters building, with the attendance of a number of senior public security officers.
During the ceremony, Major General Al-Maaytah conveyed the congratulations of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the Public Security personnel on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, expressing His Majesty’s pride in the sincere and diligent efforts they exert in service of the nation and its citizens.
The Director of Public Security emphasized that organizing this celebration annually aims to establish a culture of creativity and excellence among all units and formations, and to enhance the environment of positive competition between them, which contributes to improving performance levels and developing capabilities in line with the requirements of modern security work, and enhances the quality of services provided to citizens.
Major General Al-Maaytah stressed the importance of investing in human resources, supporting development initiatives, and continuing the approach of institutional modernization, in a way that achieves the highest levels of efficiency and readiness at various locations, and keeps pace with rapid developments in security and administrative fields.
He pointed out that this honor embodies the directorate’s appreciation for the sincere efforts and distinguished achievements of the honorees, reflecting the extent of development witnessed by the security system, affirming that excellence serves as an incentive to continue working with a spirit of responsibility and belonging to serve the nation and safeguard its assets.
The Director of Public Security listened to a briefing presented by the Inspector General, who outlined the performance evaluation mechanisms and the criteria for awarding the prizes, which were based on precise indicators to measure the quality of fieldwork and the level of readiness and professional efficiency.
At the end of the ceremony, Major General Al-Maaytah handed out the awards to the honorees, in recognition of their efforts and contributions to enhancing the journey of security excellence.
