Khaberni - Spanish Foreign Minister, José Manuel Albares, called for a stronger European stance in light of the continued humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip and the ongoing settlement expansion in the West Bank.
Albares, speaking via the (X) platform on Monday, stated that killings are still ongoing in Gaza, while humanitarian aid remains stuck at the crossings, noting that the European Union's silence on Israeli violations in the West Bank and attempts to displace Palestinians is inexplicable.
He added that the European Union possesses the necessary tools to exert pressure on the Israeli government, urging their effective use to address the worsening humanitarian situations and continued settlement expansion.
In a related context, Albares emphasized that the American tariffs represent an assault on European sovereignty, asserting the importance of confronting these policies to preserve the interests of the European Union.
