Removal of stalls obstructing traffic and vehicles in Irbid

Khaberni - The Public Health and Safety Committee in Irbid Governorate, on Monday, removed mobile stalls that were obstructing traffic and pedestrians.

Interim Governor of Irbid, Raed Al-Jaafar, stated that 23 violating stalls that were obstructing the movement of vehicles and citizens in the areas of Clinics Roundabout and Sahara Roundabout south of the city had been removed.

He added that the committee, which included Irbid Municipality, the Health Department, the Public Institution for Food and Drug, the Directorate of Industry and Trade, and the Royal Administration for Environmental Protection, suspended the operation of 3 dairy shops, a bakery, and a grocery store until their violations were rectified, in addition to issuing environmental and health violations to several other shops.

Al-Jaafar emphasized the continuation of regulatory tours in the markets throughout the holy month of Ramadan, coordinated with relevant entities, as part of the approved plan to intensify health surveillance to maintain public safety.
