Khaberni - The Southern Military Region, on Monday, thwarted an attempt to smuggle a quantity of drugs using a drone on its western front within its area of responsibility, in coordination with the military security agencies and the Drug Enforcement Administration. Engagement rules were applied after detection by the border guards and it was shot down inside Jordanian territory, and the confiscated items were handed over to the competent authorities.
