Khaberni - During his visit to the Association of Tourism and Travel Offices and Companies, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Imad Hejazin discussed the regulation of the tourism market, and the continuation of imposing effective supervision on pages and platforms not having the necessary approvals, coordinating with all relevant parties to preserve the reputation of Jordanian tourism.
The meeting also explored the files of religious tourism and Umrah trips, and the procedural challenges that companies and workers in this field face, alongside affirming the importance of opening new tourism markets, and enhancing and diversifying the Jordanian tourism product, especially in religious and medical tourism, due to their pivotal role in increasing the number of visitors and sustaining tourism growth.
Both sides confirmed that the next phase requires more collaborative work to come up with clear executive decisions that translate national visions and strategies into tangible results on the ground, serving the tourism sector and the national economy as a whole.
