Khaberni - The Iranian presidency stated in a press release that the Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi has presented a report to the government regarding the negotiations and confirmed the continuation of diplomacy according to national interests.
The statement added, "The Defense Minister presented a report on military deployment of the enemy and stressed the continuous monitoring of their movements in the region and beyond."
It also stated that the Defense Minister affirmed the readiness of the Iranian armed forces at all operational levels
For his part, the Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi told CBS that diplomacy is the only way if Washington wants to address its concerns about the peacefulness of our nuclear program
He added that there is no need for an American military buildup and that it won't intimidate us, and we are still working on the proposal of the agreement
He added, "We are working on the aspects of the agreement and its draft, and scheduling a meeting with the American side next Thursday in Geneva."
He said that reaching an agreement with Washington is achievable and there are aspects that might be better than the 2015 agreement
He confirmed, "A solution regarding enrichment is possible and we have exchanged proposals with the American side on this matter," adding that our missiles cannot hit American soil, but we will strike the bases
Araghchi continued, "Our missiles were capable of hitting targets in Israel, which requested an unconditional ceasefire."
