Amr Khaled Why do all doors suddenly close in your face The solution in Surah Taha

A Surah from the Quran will explain to you why doors are closed in your face and how they can be opened?

Surah Taha from the Quran relieves stress if the world closed in your face
How do you transform your troubled reality into a better future through the Quran?
How do you know if the trial is a punishment or satisfaction?

Khaberni - Dr. Amr Khaled, the Islamic preacher, said that when doors are closed in your face, you should be patient, not despair, improve yourself, and look for a new space until God opens new, wider doors for you.

In the fourth episodes of the program "Guide - A Journey with the Quran," Khaled drew inspiration from the story of Moses - peace be upon him - as evidence of this, after he left Egypt driven by fear after accidentally killing a person (closure), and continued to work in sheep herding for 10 years, to prepare him for a major mission (opening), which is prophecy.

Taha.. a Surah for relieving psychological stress
This story is mentioned in Surah Taha, which Khaled describes as a Surah for relieving the psychological stress from the pain of doors closing in your face, which opens your eyes to wider spaces in God's decree: be patient, do not rush, move, presenting evidence that confirms this.

The verses say: “And has the story of Moses reached you?* When he saw a fire and said to his family, 'Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance.'* But when he came to it, he was called, 'O Moses,* Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa.* And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you].* Indeed, I am God; there is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance'."

Khaled said that Prophet Moses, out of intense fear, prayed to his Lord with eight requests, and all were answered at once: "He said, ‘My Lord, expand for me my breast* and ease for me my task* and untie the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech.* And appoint for me a minister from my family -
Aaron, my brother.* Increase through him my strength* And let him share my task* that we may exalt You much* and remember You much. Indeed, You are of us ever Seeing.'.”

Then, the Creator narrates to him his life story, to show him how He prepared him for that mission, and why the doors were closed in front of him, saying:
- "And We inspired to your mother what We inspired," (That is, God cast into her heart to put him in the Nile, for a new fate).
- "Put him into the chest," (Put him in the box).
- "Then cast it into the river," (Throw it in the sea).
- "Then the sea will throw him onto the shore," (I moved the wind to take him to Pharaoh's house).
- "It will be taken by an enemy to Me and an enemy to him," (You didn't end up at Pharaoh's by chance, but I was the one who protected you in his home).
- "And I bestowed upon you love from Me," (Anyone who sees you loves you... This acceptance is not from you, but by My word 'And I bestowed upon you love from Me').
- "And you were raised under My eye," (I was the one who raised you, not your father or mother).
- "When your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be his custodian?' " (Your sister took a step and entered Pharaoh's house... and your mother took a step and threw you in the Nile, because they both took steps that brought a newer, broader fate).
- "So We returned you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve" (Without despair, frustration, and blaming fate, moving you to a more beautiful fate).
- "And you killed a soul" (Because you were a hot-headed person. You had to change and evolve).
- "So We saved you from anguish and tested you with severe trials" (You had to see difficult days).
- "Then you stayed years among the people of Midian" (10 years of preparation).
- "Then you came [at the decreed] time, O Moses" (You came at the right time... What preceded was preparation for you).
- "And I produced you for Myself" (You will play a great role for God.. For work at God is the greatest work in life).

An important development in the character of Prophet Moses
And Khaled pointed out two important features from the story of Moses as mentioned in Surah Taha:
1- His character changed and developed greatly, from intense anger and sometimes haste (my chest tightens and my tongue does not release.. therefore he said, 'Lord, expand for me my breast') to calm and confidence in the face of Pharaoh: "He said then who is your Lord, O Moses, he said, Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]".
2- From intense fear at the moment of throwing the staff: "So he turned his back, retreating and did not return", to gradual calmness and trust "Moses felt fear within himself".

But how do you know if the trial is punishment or satisfaction?
Khaled says that it depends on your view of it: satisfied with God and moving towards a new fate, then it is indeed satisfaction and an opening from God, but if you are angry, frustrated, and desperate then it is a punishment from God.. Depending on your stance on the trial, you can determine the type of trial.
And Khaled provided a Quranic prescription from Surah Taha that helps open long-closed doors, which is:
- Worship: Surah Taha is filled with orientations of worship, remembrance, and prayer: "Indeed, I am God so worship Me", "Establish prayer for My remembrance", "So whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray nor suffer"
- Prayer: "Lord, expand for me my breast."
Righteous companionship: "Appoint for me from my family a minister, Aaron my brother".

Magicians of Pharaoh
And Khaled continued: If all doors of the world are closed in your face, and a door of knowledge and closeness and love for God is opened for you.. in truth.. all the doors of the world and the afterlife have been opened for you, illustrated by what happened with the magicians of Pharaoh who saw the light of truth when they challenged Moses but believed sincerely in his miracle, and were not afraid of murder despite Pharaoh's threats to kill them.
