Khaberni - Raad Al-Awaysha, through the Media Management and Community Police at the General Security Directorate, provided a set of tips and educational guidelines for the blind and drivers, aiming to enhance public safety and reduce accidents.
Al-Awaysha emphasized the importance for drivers to adhere to traffic rules, to be vigilant while driving, especially in areas with pedestrian traffic, and to prioritize crosswalk right of way and adhere to set speed limits.
He also stressed the importance of the blind following traffic guidelines designated for them and using assistive devices while moving, which contributes to their safety and facilitates their movement in public places.
These directives are part of the ongoing efforts by the General Security Directorate to spread traffic culture and enhance community partnership to preserve the lives and safety of citizens.
