Widespread Arab and Islamic Condemnations of US Ambassador to Israels Statements

Khaberni - Arab and Islamic reactions continued after statements by the US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, in which he said it would be acceptable for Israel to control the entire Middle East, including the West Bank.

Huckabee made his remarks during a press interview conducted on Friday with American journalist Tucker Carlson. Huckabee was appointed ambassador in Tel Aviv last year.

Arab and Islamic countries expressed their strong condemnation and profound concern about the ambassador's comments, which suggested acceptance of Israel's control over territories belonging to Arab countries, including the occupied West Bank.

Jordan was the first country to announce its stance on Huckabee's comments, considering them frivolous and provocative, and representing a violation of diplomatic norms, and infringing on the sovereignty of the region's countries.

In a joint statement from 14 Arab and Islamic countries in addition to Arab and Islamic organizations and councils, they expressed their severe condemnation and deep concern regarding the ambassador's statements

Jordan

Jordan condemned the statements made by the US Ambassador to Israel, in which he said it would be acceptable for Israel to control the entire Middle East, in addition to the West Bank.

The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador Fouad Majali, rejected these frivolous and provocative statements, which represent a violation of diplomatic norms, infringement of the region's countries' sovereignty, a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, and are contrary to US President Donald Trump's declared position on rejecting the annexation of the occupied West Bank.

The Arab League

The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, condemned the extreme statements made by Huckabee, who suggested that Israel has the right to control the Middle East, citing religious texts from the Old Testament.

Jamal Rashdi, the official spokesperson for the Secretary-General on behalf of Aboul Gheit, said that Huckabee's statements "contradict all the basics of diplomacy and its established customs," as well as deviate from logic and reason, and contradict the policies of the United States and its positions consistently intended to appeal to the right-wing audience in Israel.

Egypt

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a release that Egypt condemns the statements attributed to the US Ambassador to Israel, in a talk show, which included claims about Israel's right over lands belonging to Arab countries, as they represent a blatant departure from the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter.

Egypt expressed its astonishment at the issuance of these statements, which are inconsistent with the vision presented by US President Donald Trump and the related twenty points to end the war in Gaza, and the Peace Council conference held in Washington on February 19, 2026.

Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a release that it condemns in the strongest terms and completely denounces the statements by the US Ambassador to Israel, in which he casually expressed that Israel controlling the entire Middle East would be acceptable.

Saudi Arabia firmly rejected these irresponsible statements, which are a breach of international laws, the United Nations Charter, diplomatic norms, and represent a serious precedent in issuance from an American official, showing disregard for the exceptional relations of the region's countries with the United States

Iraq

Iraq condemned the ambassador's statements, which included Israel's control over the entire Middle East region.

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed "Iraq's strong condemnation and deep denunciation of the statements issued by the US Ambassador to Israel, which included that Israel's control over the entire Middle East region could be acceptable."

Palestine

Palestine condemned the statements by the US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, which he said "Israel has a 'biblical right' to control the entire Middle East from the Nile to the Euphrates, claiming biblical interpretations.

The Arab Parliament

The President of the Arab Parliament, Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, strongly condemned the dangerous statements made by the US Ambassador to the occupation government of Israel, which he claimed it would be "acceptable" for Israel to control the entire Middle East and lands belonging to Arab countries, including the West Bank.

Al Yamahi confirmed that these statements represent a serious deviation from the rules of international law and the United Nations Charter, and constitute an open incitement to consolidate the occupation and legitimize annexation and dominance policies by force.

The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation

The General Secretariat of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation expressed its condemnation of the dangerous and irresponsible statements made by Huckabee, considering them a rejected call for Israeli expansion, the occupying force, and its seizure of more Palestinian and Arab lands, based on narrative and ideological claims that are fictitious and rejected, violating the sovereignty of states, diplomatic norms, principles of international law, United Nations resolutions, and its charter.

The Islamic World League

The Islamic World League condemned the statements by the US Ambassador to the occupation government of Israel, which referred to the acceptance of Israel practicing its control over lands belonging to Arab countries, including the Palestinian land occupied, including East Jerusalem.

In a statement by the General Secretariat of the League, the Secretary-General, Head of the Muslim Scholars' Body, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al Issa, denounced these false and irresponsible statements, which represent an unprecedented disregard for the region's security and sovereignty of its countries, and a blatant violation of all international laws and norms, and contradict the clear commitments in the American peace plan.

The ministries confirmed their countries' categorical rejection of such dangerous and provocative statements, representing a blatant violation of the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter, and posing a serious threat to the security and stability of the entire region.

The ministries emphasized that these statements directly contradict the vision presented by US President Donald Trump, as well as with the comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza, which is based on containing the escalation and providing a political horizon for a comprehensive settlement that ensures the Palestinian people the establishment of their independent state.
