Khaberni - A recent study has revealed a striking paradox in the job market, where it turns out that many job seekers ignore highly profitable opportunities simply because their titles appear strange or unfamiliar, even though these are real jobs with salaries that can reach tens of thousands of pounds annually.

The study, issued by the commercial finance platform Tide, showed that many Britons might miss out on lucrative career paths due to the belief that some job titles "are not real," especially those associated with modern sectors like artificial intelligence and digital marketing.

According to the study, the rapid development in the technology sector has led to the emergence of hundreds of new jobs that are still unknown to the general public, reducing applicants' confidence in applying for them, although they could open the door to entering the highest income brackets.

A mysterious job with a huge salary
The study included a survey of about two thousand Britons about their knowledge of recent job titles, and it turned out that the most ambiguous was the position of "Manager of Belonging" or "Manager of Culture and Belonging", where 80% of the participants confirmed that they know nothing about the nature of this role.

This job appears on employment sites such as LinkedIn and Indeed, and the average salary reaches about 80,000 pounds annually, placing its holders among the top 5% income earners in Britain.

The primary role of the Manager of Belonging is to establish an inclusive work culture within organizations, and to ensure that employees feel appreciated and integrated, in addition to cooperating with human resources departments to enhance the work environment.

Its daily tasks include reviewing job advertisements to ensure the use of inclusive language, and developing strategies to maintain employee engagement, while the position requires experience in leadership, diversity, equity, and institutional inclusion.

Other "strange" jobs.. but they are real
The matter is not limited to this role, as the study detected a group of other jobs that seemed unrealistic to Britons, like "Empathy Engineer", a specialist who studies the social, cultural, and psychological factors influencing human interaction with technology.

There was also the role of "Skills Engineer", responsible for designing organizational frameworks for managing employee skills and linking them to company goals.

High salaries for unfamiliar titles
The study revealed that these jobs, despite their strange titles, offer high salaries, among them:

Artificial Intelligence Product Manager: 100,000 pounds annually
Empathy Engineer: 110,000 pounds 
Machine Learning Specialist: 160,000 pounds 
Prompt Engineer: 90,000 pounds 
Augmented Intelligence Officer: 110,000 pounds 
Skills Engineer: 70,000 pounds 
The list also included jobs like "Digital Storyteller", related to influencer marketing, focusing on selecting content creators capable of authentically conveying the brand message.

And the matter is not limited to technology, as there are untraditional titles in other sectors as well, like an explosives detection dog trainer or a predator animal guard in zoos.

Transformations in the nature of work
Employment experts see that the emergence of these jobs reflects a profound shift in the work environment, especially with digital generations moving into decision-making positions, leading to expanded budgets for digital marketing and job innovation.

They also confirmed that these results indicate that the strangeness of job titles is no longer an indicator of their non-existence, but has become a reflection of a rapid change in the job market, making ongoing insights into new professional trends necessary for those looking for better opportunities.
