Khaberni - The UAE Cyber Security Council announced thwarting systematic cyberattacks described as "terrorist in nature," stating that they targeted digital infrastructure and key sectors in the country in an attempt to "destabilize and disrupt essential services."
The UAE News Agency (WAM) reported on Saturday that the national cyber system successfully countered these attacks, emphasizing that the safety of individuals, protection of personal data, and continuity of critical services are a top priority.
The Council explained that the nature of the attacks included efforts to penetrate networks, spread ransomware, and conduct systematic phishing targeting national platforms, as well as exploiting artificial intelligence technologies to develop complex attack tools, reaffirming its commitment to protecting digital space.
