Khaberni - The total number of hotel accommodation institutions in Jordan last year was 908 institutions, according to official data issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and reviewed by "Al-Mamlaka".
The data shows that the number of employees in these institutions was 22,943 workers, of whom 12.2% were females and 87.8% were males, mostly Jordanians, with the non-Jordanian percentage being 15%.
According to the data, these institutions comprise 68,932 beds while the number of rooms is 38,568.
The ministry indicated that the data related to hotel accommodation is updated until December 2025.
Comparing the years 2025 and 2024, the data shows that the number of hotel accommodation institutions decreased, where there were 918 institutions in 2024 while last year it decreased to 908 institutions, whereas the number of workers increased despite the decrease in the number of institutions.
The number of workers was 22,506 in 2024, while last year it increased to 22,943 with a rate of 1.9%.
Accommodation institutions are defined as establishments that provide accommodation services to visitors (hotels, hotel apartments, hotel suites, camps, inns, guest houses, etc.).
