Khaberni - An open microphone recorded a threat by Michael Levy, a lawyer for American billionaire Leslie Wexner, to his client during an investigative hearing before the Oversight Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives, due to his lengthy answers about his relationship with billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sexual crimes and accused of trafficking minors.
The lawyer whispered in Wexner's ear, saying: "I will kill you (...) if you answer another question with more than 5 words," to which Wexner responded with laughter.
Wexner's name had appeared in a document issued by the Federal Bureau of Investigation describing him as a "possible accomplice of Epstein," in the context of ongoing investigations into Epstein's financial network.
It is believed that Wexner helped Epstein since the 1990s to position himself ideally to build his wealth and broad network of relationships, which were later unraveled.
