Khaberni - Axios reported that an adviser to the American President Donald Trump stated, "The president has not yet decided to launch an attack on Iran, but he keeps his options open and may decide at any moment."
The site also conveyed from an unidentified American official that the Trump administration is prepared to accept a proposal for symbolic uranium enrichment by Iran, and that the U.S.-approved proposal stipulates that this should not allow any possible means for Iran to possess a nuclear bomb.
In relation to this matter also, the American official said that Trump's envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, informed the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi that Trump's stance is to stop uranium enrichment within Iran.
At the same time, Axios quoted the American official saying, "The Iranians must present an offer we can't refuse if they wish to prevent an attack," noting that the expectations regarding the upcoming Iranian nuclear proposal have become very high.
According to the official described by Axios as high level, President Trump would be ready to accept a substantial agreement that can be politically marketed domestically.
Limited strike
President of the United States announced last Friday that he is considering directing a limited military strike, while Reuters reported from American officials, that planning for military action against Iran has reached very advanced stages.
Trump's statement came in response to a question about whether he is considering directing a limited strike to pressure Iran to reach an agreement on its nuclear program, and he told reporters, "I think I can say that I am considering it."
This coincided with confirmation from American officials, that "planning for military action against Iran has reached very advanced stages, and that military action options against Iran range from targeting individuals to seeking regime change in Tehran," explaining that new information indicates detailed and ambitious planning pending Trump's decision.
Axios states that some of Trump's advisers have advised him to be patient since over time and with the increasing military buildup, the pressure on Iran will be stronger, but the site also confirms at the same time that even some of Trump's closest advisers do not know what he will decide or when.
