Serbia advises its nationals to leave Iran as soon as possible

Khaberni - Serbia advised its nationals during the night from Friday to Saturday in Iran to "leave as soon as possible" due to "the risk of deterioration in the security situation", with the possibility of the United States launching strikes.

The Serbian Foreign Ministry wrote on its website and social media that "due to the escalation of tensions and the risks of deteriorating security situation, we advise all citizens of the Republic of Serbia who are in Iran to leave the country as soon as possible".

Previously, in mid-January, Serbia had advised its nationals to leave Iran and discouraged traveling there.

Iran announced on Friday that it intends to prepare a draft agreement regarding its nuclear program to be submitted to the United States "within two or three days", while President Donald Trump threatens the possibility of military action against it.

After a round of talks held by the two parties at the beginning of the week, and as the American military buildup continues in the region, Trump gave Iran a deadline of Thursday, 15 days at most, to strike a "meaningful deal" or face "bad things".
