Khaberni - On Saturday morning, the branches of the Civil Consumer Corporation witnessed large crowds and long queues of citizens looking to purchase bottles of Tunisian olive oil, after the corporation announced its availability for sale at a price of 21 dinars for a 5-liter bottle.
Shoppers flocked to the branches before the start of official hours, eager to obtain the oil before supplies ran out, amid a close to 35% decline in local production this year and rising prices, while the batches offered are sold out immediately upon display, waiting for new quantities to arrive.
