A Plan to Assassinate Khamenei and His Son Axios How Can the Iranians Prevent the American Attack

Khaberni - The website "Axios" quoted an American official saying, "If the Iranians want to prevent an attack, they must present an offer we cannot refuse," indicating that President Donald Trump has not yet decided to order a strike.
Axios reported from a senior US official that "the Trump administration is ready to consider an Iranian proposal that allows for symbolic nuclear enrichment, provided it leaves no possible pathway to a nuclear weapon."

The senior US official said, "President Trump would be ready to accept an agreement that is substantive and can be politically marketed domestically," adding, "If the Iranians want to prevent an attack, they must present an offer we cannot refuse. The Iranians continue to miss opportunities. If they play games, there won't be much patience."

According to the site, US officials say that "the expectations for the anticipated Iranian nuclear proposal are very high, as the plan must convince many skeptics within the Trump administration and in the region."

In the meantime, "Axios" revealed that "some of Trump's advisors advised him to be patient, considering that the more time passes and the more the US military buildup increases, the more Trump’s leverage grows."

The site quoted one of Trump's senior advisors saying, "The president has not yet decided to order a strike... He might never do it. He might wake up tomorrow and say: it's over," and the advisor added that the Pentagon has presented Trump with many options.
He said: "They have an option for every scenario. One of the scenarios involves eliminating Ayatollah and his son and the mullahs," referring to the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and his son Mojtaba, who is seen as a potential successor. "No one knows what the president will choose. I don’t think he knows himself."

A second source confirmed, according to the site, that "a plan to assassinate Khamenei and his son was presented to Trump several weeks ago.
A senior advisor to Trump said, "Trump keeps his options open. He could decide to strike at any moment."
