Khaberni - The national football team will hold its final gathering before competing in the 2026 World Cup in May and June.
The Al-Nashama team will meet Switzerland on the evening of Sunday, May 31 in St. Gallen, before leaving for the United States to face Colombia on the evening of Sunday, June 7 in San Diego, then settling in their official World Cup camp in Portland, USA.
It should be noted that the Al-Nashama team is preparing for its first-ever participation in the World Cup 2026, where it is placed in Group 10 alongside the teams of Argentina, Algeria, and Austria.
Prior to that, the Jordan Football Association will host an international friendly quadrangular tournament, in March next year in Amman, featuring the Al-Nashama team alongside Iran, Nigeria, and Costa Rica, as part of preparations for the 2026 World Cup.
According to the tournament schedule, Al-Nashama will play their first match against the Costa Rica team on the evening of Friday, March 27, at King Abdullah II Stadium, and on the same day, Iran will meet Nigeria at Amman International Stadium.
Al-Nashama will meet Nigeria on the evening of Tuesday, March 31 at Amman International Stadium, and on the same day, Iran will play their second match against Costa Rica at King Abdullah II Stadium.
