Araghchi The draft nuclear agreement with the United States will be ready within three days

Khaberni - International media reported, quoting statements by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, that Tehran and Washington are about to finish drafting a nuclear agreement within the next three days.

In an exclusive interview with the American network "MSNBC", Araghchi revealed significant progress in the negotiations, indicating that the delegations of both countries are currently working on putting the final touches on the draft agreement.

Araghchi clarified that "the draft will be ready within the next three days," expressing hope that this step will lead to a final understanding after years of deadlock on the nuclear issue. The Iranian minister added that his country participated in the negotiations "with genuine ideas to reach a fair and equitable deal," emphasizing that lifting economic sanctions is a top priority for Tehran.

These optimistic statements came after the conclusion of the second round of indirect talks in Geneva last Tuesday, which lasted about four hours and was hosted by the Embassy of Oman in Switzerland.

This round focused on the technical aspects of the agreement, where the Iranian delegation included experts in nuclear, legal, and economic fields, and the U.S. delegation was led by special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, advisor to President Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in a phone call with his Iranian counterpart today, Friday, affirmed his support for the negotiating process aimed at finding fair political and diplomatic solutions, respecting Iran's legitimate rights, in line with the principles of the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
