Khaberni - The Eastern Military Region thwarted an attempt to smuggle a quantity of drugs using electronically directed balloons early Friday morning at its frontier, where border guard units, through monitoring, were able to spot and deal with it, dropping the load inside Jordanian territory in coordination with security forces and the Anti-Narcotics Department. The seized items were then transferred to the competent authorities for necessary actions.
