Khaberni - The Egyptian artist Ghada Abdel Razek appeared as a guest in the first episode of the new season of the program "Secret Ink," where media personality Asmaa Ibrahim conducted a candid interview revealing aspects of her personal life, her artistic experiences, and her opinions about her colleagues in the artistic community.
Ghada opened up about her experience with psychiatric medications, referring to a shocking incident that affected her life when she said: "I watched a woman fall from a high building, which was an experience that completely changed my life, making me feel insecure and obsessive, and with the pressure of work and getting into character, I started taking medications.. and I was undergoing psychological treatment for 20 years."
About her excessive sensitivity, she said: "I am more sensitive than necessary," adding that the negative comments on social media were tough on her: "If I stopped for one more second, I would have collapsed from crying."
Ghada spoke about supporting young artists, and she mentioned about Salma Abou Deif: "She deserves it because she is beautiful and hardworking, and I love a person who is smart and ambitious," she also praised Dalia Shawky.
She explained that the late Nour El-Sherif was a major reason in giving her the chance to appear, emphasizing that she is keen today to offer the same support to the new generations.
About her absence from the Ramadan season 2026, she said: "My respect for myself, my values, and my history made me refuse to participate this year, as the work was not up to my aspirations."
She also expressed her appreciation for her colleagues in the artistic field, such as Mohamed Sami and Sherine Abdel Wahab, emphasizing that she does not close the door on future collaborations with them, and that respecting professional and personal relationships is part of her professional and personal commitment.
