Khaberni - The number of Jordanians who traveled abroad for tourism reached 161,709 individuals during last January.
According to official data, the number increased by 1.6% compared to the same period last year, which registered 159,085 departures.
Looking at the total number of departures during the past year 2025, it was 1,638,498 individuals.
According to the data, the number of Jordanian departures during last year were as follows: in January 159,085, in February 129,749, in March 126,032, in April 113,692, in May 118,957, in June 159,455, in July 203,631, in August 156,431, in September 114,184, in October 116,233, in November 113,368, while in December 127,682, reaching a total of 1,638,498 departures.
The central bank had earlier revealed that spending on tourism abroad in January 2026 increased by 6.2%, reaching $196.3 million.
