Khaberni - The commander of the international stability force in Gaza announced during the peace council meeting in Washington on Thursday; the commitment of five countries to send forces to the sector.
General Jasper Jievers added, "I am very pleased to announce today the commitment of the first five countries to send forces to work within the international stability force, which are Indonesia, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, and Albania. Also, two countries have committed to training police officers, namely Jordan and Egypt."
The President of Kazakhstan, Qasym-Jomart Toqayev said that his country is prepared to support the international stability force in Gaza by deploying military units including medical units.
The Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto stated that Jakarta will contribute eight thousand soldiers or more in an international security force to protect Gaza.
The Moroccan Foreign Minister expressed his country's readiness to deploy police officers in Gaza.
The Turkish Foreign Minister confirmed that his country would contribute to the security force for Gaza.
