Khaberni - Seoul FC has renewed its contract with national team defender Yazan Al-Arab until 2026, so he can continue his journey with the team after his contract ends at the end of the 2025 season.
The club published Al-Arab's statements following the contract renewal, where he said: "Firstly, I apologize to the club and the fans for the delay in renewing the contract due to personal issues, but my loyalty and love for Seoul FC and its fans have never changed. From now on, the Seoul FC emblem will not only be on my chest but also in my heart. I am truly proud to renew my contract and I thank the club for its continued trust in me. I will repay the love and expectations of the club's fans, and I will do my utmost on the field. I am proud to be a player at Seoul FC at any moment, and I will continue to give my best effort till the end."
After the 2025 season, Al-Arab will become a free agent and has attracted interest from several clubs, with reports indicating that he was of interest to clubs in the Spanish league.
The renewal of Al-Arab’s contract contributes to strengthening the defensive line of Seoul FC, which currently includes the recently joined Spanish player Juan Antonio Roos from the Chinese league, alongside the vice-captain Lee Han-do, and the young player Park Sung-hon.
Al-Arab will continue with his team in the elite AFC Champions League, following Seoul's qualification to the round of 16 in the Eastern region, where they will face the Japanese club "Vissel Kobe," with the first leg matches scheduled between the 3rd and 4th of the next month, and the second leg between the 10th and 11th of the same month.
