Khaberni - U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham stated during an interview on "Sky News Arabia" that Saudi Arabia is currently moving backwards, noting that they are fiercely attacking the United Arab Emirates due to its joining the "Abraham Accords".
In response to justifications that claim the dispute is due to issues with Sudan and Yemen, Graham affirmed that there is no valid justification for this, clarifying that although there may be disputes regarding Sudan and Yemen, what is currently happening is akin to an actual declaration of war.
Additionally, Senator Graham posted on the platform "X" statements confirming that Mohammed bin Zayed's decision to embrace the Abraham Accords and modernize his country while maintaining faith is the most significant change he has witnessed in the Middle East in his lifetime, indicating that what the United Arab Emirates has done in trying to integrate the region with the entire world is one of the bravest and most impactful decisions any leader in the Middle East has made.
Graham added that he was very straightforward with Mohammed bin Zayed that he cannot do this alone, emphasizing the need for others in the region to adopt this vision and participate in it, rather than just being mere bystanders.
Graham also warned that powers that have intersected in the region recently are attempting to undermine the movement toward "the light" by reverting to old methods and engaging in policies he described as "cheap".
He concluded his statements by affirming that these actions have not gone unnoticed, warning that continuing this approach will cause immense damage to the greatest opportunity he has seen in hundreds of years to change the Middle East for the better.
