Wolves Remontada Halts Arsenals Progress

Khaberni  - Arsenal squandered a chance to further strengthen their grip on the top spot of the Premier League with a surprising draw against hosts Wolverhampton (2-2), on Wednesday at Molineux Stadium, in a match from the 31st round of the competition.

With this draw, the Gunners increased their points to 58, five points ahead of second-place Manchester City, who have played one less game.

On the other hand, Wolverhampton's total rose to 10 points, at the bottom of the table, where they are nearing relegation to the Championship.

Arsenal's English star Bukayo Saka opened the scoring in today's match at the 5th minute, before Pierre Hincapie added the second goal for the visitors at the 56th minute.

The Wolves responded with a first goal, scored by Hugo Bueno Lopez in the 61st minute, and then Arsenal's defender Ricardo Calafiori scored the second own goal for the hosts in the 94th minute, ending the match in a disappointing draw for Arsenal fans.

The Italian Calafiori's goal for the London team came one minute after he had replaced his injured Belgian teammate, Leandro Trossard, who had entered the game after the English star, Bukayo Saka, was injured in the 73rd minute.
