Khaberni - A medical team at the new Princess Basma Hospital conducted today, Wednesday, the first case of peripheral catheterization in the interventional radiology and vascular catheterization department, marking an actual start of offering this advanced type of medical services in the north of the Kingdom.
The procedure was performed by a medical team composed of interventional radiology and vascular catheterization specialists Dr. Mohammad Nasr Nazal and Dr. Osman Omar Abu Quaran, with the collaboration and follow-up of vascular surgery specialist Dr. Raed Anab.
Dr. Nazal told the Jordanian News Agency (Petra) that this operation marks the beginning of a new phase in the development of interventional radiology as one of the precise and specialized fields, which is the first of its kind at this level in the Ministry of Health hospitals in the north of the Kingdom.
