Khaberni - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met on Wednesday at the Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman with Mrs. Elke Büdenbender, wife of the German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, in the context of a working visit by the German President and his wife to the Kingdom.
The meeting addressed a number of issues of mutual interest, particularly in humanitarian and social aspects, in addition to ways to enhance cooperation in fields supporting childhood and family.
Mrs. Elke Büdenbender is the patron of UNICEF Germany. Meanwhile, in 2007, the global UNICEF organization awarded Queen Rania the title of first "Eminent Advocate for Children."
