The government seeks employee opinions on working 4 days instead of 5 link

Khaberni - The Public Service and Administration Commission launched a survey on Wednesday to gauge the opinions of public sector employees regarding the number of official working days, including the study of organizing the workweek, particularly the option of working 4 days instead of 5 days, with a duration of 8 hours and 45 minutes a day, which is an increase of 1 hour and 45 minutes over the current daily working duration.

The Commission indicated that employees could share their opinions through the link: (click here), noting that this study excludes those in teaching positions, medical roles, and healthcare services at the Ministry of Health.

The Commission explained that the launch of the survey is in execution of the directions from Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, which stressed the importance of listening to employees' opinions before making any potential regulatory decisions, and within the efforts aimed at developing the work environment and enhancing the efficiency of public administration, pointing out that the participation of employees' opinions contributes to building institutional decisions based on data.
