Khaberni - Google faced a new embarrassing situation just one day after the "YouTube" platform went down in the United States, as a large number of iPhone users reported receiving a strange notification from the "Google" app, containing a link that leads to inappropriate content generated by artificial intelligence.
The notification also reached some users in Canada.
According to reports, the notification came without any explanation or clarification, and when clicked, users were redirected to the "Grook" site, specifically to an animated GIF displaying content inappropriate for display to users of the official "Google" app.
So far, the company has not clarified the reason for this strange behavior nor issued an official statement acknowledging the problem, according to a report published by "phonearena".
Some speculate that it might have been caused by a temporary breach during the "YouTube" disruption, or by a developer accidentally sending the link.
According to some comments, the cause might be the use of "vibe coding" which relies on artificial intelligence for writing codes, which may lead to unintended content being sent to users.
It should be noted that this incident is part of a series of major technical failures that have affected major systems such as "YouTube" and "Cloudflare", which confirms that even the largest digital systems are not immune to errors.
The incident, despite its strangeness, wasn’t directly harmful, but it is certainly the first time users were directly directed from the "Google" app to inappropriate content generated by artificial intelligence, raising widespread concern among users.
