Jordan Traffic Management Implements Two Traffic Plans with the Start of Ramadan

Khaberni -   The Traffic Management announced the implementation of two traffic plans with the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan by enhancing the deployment of its groups in the capital and various provinces.

First Lieutenant Doaa Al-Habahbeh from the Traffic Management Operations Room stated that the first plan will be during the morning hours with a concentrated focus on the first days of the holy month to increase the fluidity of movement and reduce traffic jams.

Al-Habahbeh explained to Public Security Radio that the first days of Ramadan usually witness confusion due to changes in official working hours for employees, urging the necessity to leave early for work to avoid peak traffic congestion times.

She also clarified that there is a traffic plan after the Iftar period which involves redeployment, and will include a significant boost to groups between vehicles and pedestrians. It will focus on movement in shopping areas, malls, restaurants, vital areas, and mosques to organize the entry and exit movements and ensure the elimination of random parking.

She called on drivers to adhere to traffic rules and the necessity of cooperating with traffic sergeants in the field.
