Khaberni - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, on Tuesday, delivered a warm greeting to the Palestinian people in all their places of residence in the homeland and the diaspora, and to all Arab and Islamic peoples.
President Abbas specifically addressed the people "persevering and patient on the land of their homeland" in his speech, praising their certainty and adherence to their national principles despite all difficulties.
He prayed to Allah Almighty that this holy month may return to Palestine with the people's hopes of achieving freedom and full independence realized, and the independent Palestinian state manifested in all its sovereignty, with East Jerusalem as its eternal capital.
The Palestinian president's speech inclusively noted significant sacrifices; he implored the Almighty Allah to envelop the martyrs with His vast mercy and to grant rapid healing to all the wounded and injured.
He also reaffirmed the central importance of the issue of prisoners in the Palestinian conscience, imploring Allah that this month be a time of imminent relief for all those behind the bars of occupation.
In the face of ongoing crises, the president urgently called upon the Palestinian people to strengthen values of mutual support and solidarity among its various groups, emphasizing the necessity of compassion and cooperative spirit in these difficult times that the land and cause are experiencing. He noted that the strength of Palestine lies in the unity of its social fabric and the cohesion of its internal front.
The Palestinian president offered his congratulations to the Arab and Islamic nations, hoping that Ramadan will be a month of goodness, prosperity, and blessings for the entire world, and that it will enhance the unity of the Arab ranks, and fulfill the aspirations of the peoples toward advancement, prosperity, and peace, marking this month as a milestone for development and progress away from the languages of war and destruction.
