Khaberni - The Saudi monarch, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, congratulated the citizens and the Muslims around the world on the occasion of Ramadan, in a speech delivered on his behalf by Salman Al-Dosary, the Saudi Minister of Information.
King Salman said in his speech: "We congratulate you on the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan, in which the gates of heaven are opened, and includes a night better than a thousand months. We pray to Allah Almighty to help us in fasting, praying, and performing acts of worship."
"We praise the Almighty Lord for the privilege granted to our blessed country to serve the Holy Mosques and their visitors, including pilgrims and those undertaking Umrah, and we are committed, with the help of Allah, to continue this steadfast approach followed by the kings of this state."
He added: "Ramadan is a great occasion for purifying the soul, doing good deeds, enhancing mercy and solidarity, and thanking the Almighty for His visible and invisible blessings. We pray to Allah Almighty to bless us during this holy month, accept our righteous deeds, continue to bestow security and prosperity upon our country, and grant peace and stability to our brethren in Palestine, the Islamic nation, and the entire world."
