Khaberni - The control and inspection teams at the Food and Drug Corporation, Jerash branch, in cooperation with the Royal Administration for Environmental Protection- Jerash, on Tuesday destroyed 325 liters of Ramadan juices produced inside a juice preparation warehouse in Jerash Governorate, due to the lack of necessary approvals from the Corporation and non-compliance with the approved health standards, and halted the warehouse operations.
The Corporation added in a press statement that its specialized teams in the Irbid branch closed down a bakery in Irbid Governorate due to the violation of the approved health standards and the lack of cleanliness and maintenance precautions, in addition to displaying food products outside the facility.
The same statement pointed out that the Corporation teams closed down 6 unauthorized warehouses for preparing Ramadan juices, in Sahab, and seized 66,000 juice packages that did not have a label, in preparation for their destruction, with a total quantity estimated at about 160,000 liters.
The Corporation commenced legal proceedings to transfer the related parties to the competent judicial authorities to take the necessary legal actions against them, inviting communication with it in case of any complaint, observation, or inquiry around the clock through the toll-free complaint line 117114 and via WhatsApp on the number 0795632000.
