Khaberni - Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Hadid, general manager of the Military Consumer Corporation, stated that large quantities of goods were contracted, but the only obstacle was maritime shipping, explaining that the hurricanes affecting the Mediterranean and the floods in Tunisia had a negative impact on the shipping process.
He further added in radio statements on the air of Hayat FM that 6 to 7 containers have arrived and they will be distributed across all markets next Thursday, noting that the second batch will arrive on February 25th with 10 containers, while another 20 containers will arrive on March 4th and will be directly pumped into the markets.
He confirmed that hurricanes delayed all goods coming from the Maghreb, pointing out that all arriving quantities will be pumped into the markets as soon as they arrive.
