Jordan halts export of sheep during Ramadan

Khaberni  -  The Ministry of Agriculture announced a decision to halt the export of live sheep to neighboring countries, aiming to ensure the supply of red meat for the local market, maintain price stability, and provide sufficient quantities for the citizens during the holy month of Ramadan.

In the same context, the ministry clarified that new sources have been opened for importing live animals, including sheep and calves, in addition to accrediting new slaughterhouses for importing meat in various forms, from approved and healthily and veterinarily sound origins.
