Members of the US Congress Form a Special Committee to Investigate Epsteins Crimes

Khaberni  - A team of U.S. Congress members from New Mexico announced the formation of a special committee to investigate the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of child prostitution.

According to a House resolution, the committee will consist of representatives from the majority party, representatives from the minority party, and a chairperson chosen from among them, aimed at investigating criminal activities associated with the farm, determining the need for legal sanctions to prevent crimes and punish offenders, and protecting children and other vulnerable groups.

Representative Andrea Romero, one of the authors of the resolution, explained that the committee will interrogate victims of crimes committed on the farm near Santa Fe and will later publicly announce the names of the suspects, noting that bipartisan representation will ensure the integrity and impartiality of the investigation.

In the same context, the U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch announced on January 30th the completion of the publication of Epstein's case documents, which exceeded 3.5 million documents.

In 2019, Epstein was charged with trafficking minors for sexual exploitation, before he met his death in prison in July of the same year, under circumstances that the investigation concluded were suicide.
