Khaberni - The Public Security Directorate confirmed the occurrence of a familial murder on Monday evening in the Hawfa area of Al-Mazar Al-Shamali.
According to the official details, a juvenile (born in 2011) stabbed his brother (born in 2014), also a juvenile, in the back with a sharp object, following disputes that arose between the two within their family home.
The security forces managed to apprehend the offending juvenile and seize the weapon used in the crime immediately upon their arrival at the scene.
The relevant authorities have begun investigations to ascertain the circumstances of the incident, while the body of the child victim will be transferred to the forensic medicine center to definitively determine the cause of death.
