Khaberni - Saudi Al-Ahli secured an exciting 4-3 win over UAE's Shabab Al-Ahli on Monday, as part of the competition in the eighth and last round of the league phase of the Asian Champions League for elite football.
Al-Ahli increased their points to 17 in second place, two points behind their local rival Al-Hilal, who leads the standings and who will face Al-Wahda of UAE later on Monday.
On the other hand, Shabab Al-Ahli's points remained frozen at 11 in the sixth position.
Al-Ahli took the lead in the 12th minute through Firas Al-Buraikan, and then Shabab Al-Ahli player Bogdan Planic scored an own goal in the 36th minute.
In the third minute of added time in the first half, Enzo Mio scored Al-Ahli's third goal, while Saleh Abushamat finalized the quartet in the 52nd minute from a penalty.
Shabab Al-Ahli scored their first goal in the 66th minute through Bruno, then the same player scored the second goal in the 78th minute, while Mohamed Juma added the third goal in the fifth minute of added time.
