Khaberni - A tribal delegation headed on the evening of Monday, February 17, 2026, to the town of Muhyi in the Karak governorate, to request a tribal reconciliation from the Al-Qadi clan following the killing of the young Yassin Mahmoud Al-Qadi.
According to local sources, an agreement to grant a tribal reconciliation was not reached due to differing views within the clan about its conditions, which prevented its completion according to customary practices.
As a result, the security authorities decided to renew a security reconciliation instead of the tribal one, for a period of three days, to ensure the preservation of security and prevent any potential tensions in the area, pending the completion of consultations and achieving consensus among the concerned parties.
