Arab Islamic Bank and Tkiyet Um Ali Renew Their Cooperation Agreement for the Thirteenth Consecutive Year for 2026

Khaberni - Stemming from the International Arab Islamic Bank’s belief in social responsibility and sustainable development, and its keenness to embody the principle of social solidarity, the International Arab Islamic Bank renewed its partnership agreement with Tkiyet Um Ali for the thirteenth consecutive year, reaffirming the bank's ongoing commitment to support Tkiyet Um Ali in fighting hunger and food poverty by providing sustainable food support to needy families across all governorates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan throughout the year. The agreement was signed by Mr. Iyad Asali, General Manager of the International Arab Islamic Bank, and Mr. Samer Balkar, General Manager of Tkiyet Um Ali.

Following the signing of the agreement, Asali praised the humanitarian and social role played by Tkiyet Um Ali in supporting the local community and the consistent commitment of the International Arab Islamic Bank to support these segments and highlight their role in society, adding, "Our partnership comes from our belief in the role of Tkiyet Um Ali in assisting needy families and their ability to assess the less fortunate classes in all provinces of the kingdom and their quick response to the needs of these families with efficiency."

For his part, Samer Balkar, the General Manager of Tkiyet Um Ali, valued the renewal of trust and support from the International Arab Islamic Bank for the programs and activities of Tkiyet Um Ali, saying:
“We are proud of our extended partnership with the International Arab Islamic Bank, which reflects the bank’s belief in the importance of supporting the efforts of Tkiyet Um Ali aligned with the national strategy to combat hunger and achieve food security,” praising the role played by the bank as a leading national institution in supporting the Tkiyet’s various development projects aimed at addressing the issue of hunger and eliminating it.

This agreement falls within the scope of cooperation in the field of providing food parcels during the holy month of Ramadan and charity iftar campaigns, where the International Arab Islamic Bank will sponsor a day for the mercy tables held by Tkiyet Um Ali in its main headquarters in the Al-Mahatta area, welcoming more than 5,000 fasting individuals daily, where bank employees will participate in volunteering and providing iftar meals to the fasters.
