The Zarqa Civil Status Office is closed until further notice

Khaberni - The Director General of the Civil Status and Passports Department, Engineer Gaith Ghazi Al-Tayeb, has decided to close the Zarqa Civil and Passport Office starting from next Thursday, for a period of five months, for the purpose of carrying out maintenance and rehabilitation work.
The department clarified in a statement today, Monday, that the nature of the ongoing maintenance work in the office prevents the continuation of services to citizens during the specified period, confirming that these works come within the framework of improving the work environment and developing infrastructure, which will enhance the level of services provided to citizens upon the reopening of the office.
It indicated that it continues to implement plans for updating and developing several of its offices in the capital and provinces within a comprehensive program aimed at improving performance efficiency and the quality of services provided to citizens.
The department urged citizens to visit its offices in the Zarqa Governorate, including the West Zarqa Office – which will continue operating until 5 pm throughout the blessed month of Ramadan – and the offices in Ruseifa and Hashimiyah, or to head to the comprehensive government centers in Zarqa and Ruseifa to complete their transactions during the closure period.
It also invited citizens to benefit from the electronic services available through the "Sanad" app, or through the electronic services portal at the link: https://eservices.cspd.gov.jo/
The department mentioned that it will announce the date of resumption of work in the office after the completion of the maintenance works through its official channels.
