Khaberni  - Egyptian artist Zeina sparked widespread controversy by publishing documents proving her lineage and the lineage of her twins to the Ashraf from the progeny of Imam Hussein, asserting that she and her children are descendants of the prophet Muhammad through her mother.

Zeina revealed the features of her children for the first time since their birth, after obtaining this certificate, by posting images of the identity cards bearing the names: Al-Sharif Ezz El Din Ahmed Ezz El Din Ali Ezzat, and Al-Sharif Zein El Din Ahmed Ezz El Din Ali Ezzat.

She explained in her post that getting the lineage certificate was a precious gift for her on her birthday, writing that her sister Nasreen issued the certificates for her and her sisters and then obtained certificates for her children on her birthday, considering it the most beautiful gift in her life.

In the same context, the Family Appeal Court had ruled in early January to accept Zeina's appeal against the artist Ahmed Ezz, and obligated him to pay an amount of 30,000 Egyptian pounds as maintenance fees for her twins, within the ongoing judicial dispute between the two parties regarding the children's expenses, and the ruling came in response to Zeina's request emphasizing the necessity of providing comprehensive care for her twins commensurate with their living standard and the father’s income and financial capability.

The judicial dispute between the two parties dates back to more than 10 years, specifically in 2014, when Zeina resorted to the judiciary to prove the paternity of her twin children, a case that saw Ahmed Ezz's refusal to undergo DNA fingerprint analysis, before a final judicial ruling was issued proving the paternity.

In 2017, Zeina obtained a court ruling for divorce from Ahmed Ezz, yet the legal disputes between them continued concerning alimony and the children’s expenses.
