Khaberni - Arab Weather's modern technologies indicate that the influence of the warm air mass will increase across the Kingdom on Monday, God willing, leading to further increases in temperatures to become about 10 to 12 degrees Celsius warmer than usual for this time of year, with generally warm and dry weather, and variably dusty conditions.
It is expected that temperatures may reach and possibly exceed the mid-twenties Celsius in many cities, neighborhoods, and villages, including the eastern and southern neighborhoods of the capital Amman. It is believed that such levels have not been recorded in February in the Kingdom for several years. Climate records indicate that the last time temperatures exceeded the mid-twenties Celsius in East Amman was in 2010, while it approached the mid-twenties in several subsequent years, the last of which was in 2021.
In the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea areas, temperatures are around 30 degrees Celsius and may exceed that locally during the afternoon and early evening, with relatively hot weather, God willing.
The winds will be moderate southeast, with active gusts and dusty in some areas.
On Tuesday, a noticeable drop in temperature by about 10 degrees Celsius compared to Monday is expected, with the weather being cool and partly to occasionally cloudy with clouds at different altitudes. There is also the possibility of scattered local rain showers in random areas, and the winds will be moderate westerly, becoming active in the afternoon.
Recommendations:
Do not lighten clothing and be aware of temperature differences
Be aware of the ongoing dusty conditions and its impact on respiratory and eye health
Avoid long and direct exposure to sunlight in the Jordan Valley and Dead Sea areas
