Khaberni - Four individuals were martyred on Sunday by an Israeli strike in East Lebanon near the Syrian border, according to the official Lebanese media, while Tel Aviv claimed targeting elements in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement.
The official Lebanese National News Agency stated that “an enemy Israeli drone targeted a vehicle at the Lebanese-Syrian border,” adding “the bodies of four martyrs are still inside it,” while the Israeli occupation army claimed in a statement that it targeted "terrorist elements in the Islamic Jihad movement in the Majdal Anjar area."
According to the agency, “the echo of 4 powerful explosions was heard in the villages neighboring the targeted site,” without further details.
Israel continues its violations of the ceasefire agreement made with “Hezbollah” since November 2024, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and wounded, in addition to Tel Aviv’s continued occupation of 5 Lebanese hills taken during the last war, plus other areas it has occupied for decades.
Israel killed more than 4,000 people and injured about 17,000 others, during its aggression on Lebanon which began in October 2023, before turning into a full-scale war in September 2024, which halted after signing a ceasefire agreement.
