Khaberni - Special inspection and surveillance teams of the Food and Drug Corporation, in cooperation with the Royal Environmental Protection Administration, seized early this Sunday morning, 1390 kg of dairy and cheese with unknown origin bearing the name of a fictitious trademark called "Golden Dairy" loaded in a food transport vehicle in Amman.
The corporation clarified in a press statement that tracking operations are still ongoing to determine the source of the dairy, indicating that their teams have secured the entire quantity in preparation for its destruction, and have begun the process of referring the involved parties to the relevant judicial authorities for legal action against them.
The corporation confirmed that its intensive surveillance campaigns are ongoing around the clock to control any violations that affect food safety and public health, and it will not hesitate in taking the necessary actions against violators.
