Hussein Fahmy clarified in an interview via the "Your Right to Know" podcast that he always makes sure to resolve crises quickly without escalation, adding that his relationships with everyone are governed by mutual respect.
Hussein Fahmy pointed out that the disputes that occurred in the past were quickly resolved, saying: "I don’t have a problem with any woman I married or with the family court, I resolve issues promptly, I’m quick at solving problems and I don’t waste time."
He emphasized that he always prefers to deal with disputes quickly and calmly to avoid their escalation and prolongation.
Hussein Fahmy and the True Reason of His Conflict with Mervat Amin
The artist Hussein Fahmy revealed the real reason behind his split from the artist Mervat Amin 39 years ago, pointing to a difference in viewpoints, which led them to agree on the separation.
Hussein Fahmy explained that they did not reach a dead end, but at the same time confirmed that they could not continue their life together, adding: "We live life only once, so every person has the right to live the life they love in the way that pleases them."
It should be mentioned that Hussein Fahmy previously talked about the reason for not participating in any joint work with Mervat Amin after their separation, explaining that over the past 39 years, there had not been suitable circumstances or projects to bring them together again.
He stressed that there were no disputes between them because of their daughter "Menna", commenting on their appearance in an advertisement as "nice", and that it was agreed upon and appeared in a good light.
Fahmy confirmed that his relationship with Mervat Amin was good over the past years, and there were no disputes except within the natural exceptions, adding that disputes are normal in marital life, but he noted that this does not mean there is a gap between them after separation, saying: "And we always appeared together at public events."

It is noted that Hussein Fahmy has been married six times. His first was to the show artist Nelly Mazloum at the beginning of his artistic career, from whom he had two daughters, Mahmoud and Naila, but the marriage ended in separation.
His most famous and stable marriage was to the artist Mervet Amin in 1974, after a love story during their artistic collaboration. The marriage lasted until 1986, and they were blessed with their daughter Menna during that time.
After that, Hussein Fahmy married a non-Egyptian woman, but the marriage did not last long and was kept away from the limelight. Later, he married another woman outside the artistic community, but it also ended in separation.
