Khaberni - Preliminary data issued by the Central Bank indicates an increase in the total remittances received by the Kingdom by 4.5% during the year 2025, reaching 4,472.8 million dollars, while remittances issued from the Kingdom rose by 14.2% to reach 1,768.5 million dollars.
The data shows that remittances coming from the UAE ranked first among the total remittances received by the Kingdom, constituting 21.8%, followed by the United States (18.9%), then Saudi Arabia (18.6%), followed by Qatar (9.6%), while other countries formed (31.1%) of the total incoming remittances.
As for remittances issued, it is shown that Egypt represents the main destination for remittances issued from the Kingdom, constituting 40.6%, followed by Bangladesh (10.7%), then the UAE (5.7%), followed by the Philippines (5.3%), while other countries formed (37.7%) of the total outgoing remittances.
